When you are travelling, you will experience new and exciting things. How nice is it, to keep memory of it and share it with others. There are literally hundreds of travel blogs where you can put your stories and photos. On some of them other people can give a comment or ask a question about the story or picture.

Keep a diary, on paper or digital. It’s not just nice to see for your friends and family, but when you travel for a longer period of time you are likely to forget where you have been and what you have done.

Now with digital camera's it does not matter how many pictures you take, just make sure you have a backup. This you can do by putting them on a DVD or a memory stick. You can even send the photos to yourself by email. do not delete any photo's before you have conformation of your backup. Me (Kim) for example, send a DVD back to my mom and deleted them from my card. the DVD never made it back home so I lost a lot of pictures from Laos. But that is a good excuse to go back.

If you think you have a lucky shot. Let say a picture perfect, you might post them in a Photo competition. Sometimes a good way to earn your next free holiday.
